Transit Cocktail Lounge, located on the second level of the highly acclaimed Transport Hotel complex is Federation Square's best kept secret. With an elevation of 9.8 meters, the roof top cocktail lounge bar features expansive views stretching from the Melbourne Cricket Ground, along the Yarra River, into the Botanical Gardens, across to the Melbourne Arts Centre and completing the panorama view with a wonderful sunset horizon over Southbank to the West.

Transit Cocktail Lounge offers both indoor and outdoor event spaces. Inside you can soak up the sounds of cool jazz. We also have a couch area for smaller functions and use of the entire venue for larger functions.

Transit is the ideal venue to book for private events, including Q&As, product launches, media functions, group presentations, birthdays, receptions, or work parties. Transit can tailor a unique event especially for you and your guests.
