Venue type: Bar
Review: Tony Clarke
Down to earth backpackers venue that keeps things surprisingly simple; which is a good thing, because when things get busy, you don't want to be falling over stools and tables. And it does get busy. Those fun-loving pint-clutching backpackers know how to live it up, don't worry about that.

Not much to look at but I did feel right at home, no dress code, no boring people and cheap beer is always good. A young international crowd who were friendly and fun; I'm going back.

Great staff who encourage you to just let loose and have fun. Anything goes here and it's really easy to meet some great people. It's low on class and style but big on laughs. Do yourself a favour and check it out!

It's not classy but hey it's full-on fun and some great people. A nice mixed crowd that all get down with cheap as beer and a great range of music to suit everyone. Sundays kick ass for a day session and Thursdays have a love match thing that's funny if your single. hehe .. good old backpackers.

I had THE BEST four months of my travelling life here...staff make you feel so welcome (I became one of them for a while!), the place is a little grubby around the edges but you meet the most laid back people for it! Seriously, stick this place out! The bar is great, cheap booze, great music, great company, the accommodation is cheap...you are made to feel so welcome...I absolutely LOVED IT! So don't judge by appearances...and say hello from me!
