Soothing background tunes, a nice cellar of wines to choose from and a classy range of snacks make Bar Humbug a nice escape from its backdrop in Little Bourke Street. A nice one for after-work or pre-dinner drinks.

This is a must visit bar for those that always wanted to spend time on the TV show Cheers. It is small in size but large in character and atmosphere. The decor is contempory urban and if you can dive onto the couches at the back of the bar before they are taken you will melt into the evening. The mood is very relaxed with soft lighting and a touch of background music that does not interrupt your conversation. The menu is good, having a large range of dishes all well presented on large format plates.
