A welcome addition to a part of High Street where the Croxton Park Hotel was once the only choice on offer, Bender is aptly named as a place to stay for a few.
Don't be put off by the bars on the windows, as the ambience inside is warm and welcoming, with quirky art and plaster work on the walls, and comfy seating a'plenty. Bender is a smallish venue with a bar on one side and on weekends, a DJ deck next to that in full swing.
Weekdays it is a pleasant spot for a quiet ale.
