Aria (Langham Hotel)

Friends of mine flew in from the UK and were staying in the Langham. I wanted to take them out in to the city but jet lag hit them hard and they suggested the hotel bar. I reluctuntly agreed but my concerns were totaly unjustified!

Aria is not your average hotel bar. You walk in and at once the decor, lighting and friendly welcome make you realise you have found something special. We began with some very well made cocktails, the highlight being the blueberry mojito. After a few more the tappas style mezze stand began to look apealing, once it arrived we were not disappointed. As it became busier service was less attentive but you feel the staff are there if you need them with menu advice and they even were happy to create drinks there were not listed (the bramble was fantastic).
It's off the beaten track but well worth a visit if you fell you need spoiling or to immerse yourself in oppulence.
