Readers' Reviews
The Baywater Hotel (aka. "The Baysie" to locals) has gone through many incarnations over the years as the interior has been slowly remodelled and improved over the years. Gaming areas are now more separated from the dining areas for example. There's a stage area for bands as well.
Situated near an industrial suburb the establishment attracts many workers both during the day, for pub lunches, and in the evening. En route to the Bayswater rail station many workers, office and shopfloor alike, are known to wander in for a few brews before heading home for tea. It's a roomy place inside and has recently added a sheltered beer garden.
Tap beers are pretty basic. The Bistro food is more expensive than meals served at the public sports bar. Pool tables and other diversions complete the mix. Pokies are situated near the bistro area.
Outside is a drive-thru bottle shop. Extra parking at rear.
