Review: Tony Clarke
The Beehive is about being yourself, not trying to conform to society, and getting a few cold beers in at the same time.
It's grunge, alternative, uncomplicated. Go on, put your beer on the pool table if you want; it's not like anybody is going to tell you off. People want to be themselves and play pool or even do some karaoke. To chill out, basically.
Layout wise, yep, there's the pool tables, a pinnie, the lighting is kept fairly dark, and the bar serves your pots with ice hanging off them.
There's also a separate betting area and sports bar doing meals, but the place to be is definitely in the public bar.
Always Busy
This place is always rocking, and deservedly so.
