Wheelers Hill Hotel

Ahhh 'the Wheelers' as it is known by locals. I would summarise this place as a 'phase pub'. Somewhere you go every Thursday night for two months and then don't see it again for another six. Pretty good crowd; locals only though, really. Music is dance, alternating DJ and live band. Great dancefloor. Recently refurbished, the Wheelers is everything your local pub should be, but not a massive night. Doors close soon after midnight because of the residential location, so it's home to bed for most. All in all, fun night, lots of teens if you're into that sort of thing. Go early during the holidays as the line rolls around the corner on busy nights.

Also good for dinner in the accompanying building and functions on a Saturday night.

A great place to have a beer and relax. Splendid views. A real treat for the firefighting space monkey in us all. The meals are pretty good too.
