Barbukka' s rich colour scheme, curtains, candles and velvet portray a Middle Eastern / African theme - also evident in the (albeit vegetarian) menu and the types of bands which play on the stage at the far end of the bar. The Bohemian feel reflects Barbukka's street cred as both a meeting point and gallery for artists. The venue is large and simply rectangular in layout, with a bar on one side and red brick walls and artwork for sale on the other.
Always Busy
Getting the artist community on side (as well as plenty of non-creatives) has worked well to ensure a rather busy place.
