Review: Tony Clarke
Located on level 3 of Melbourne Central is this old world style pub with dark wood interiors, memorabilia, fireplaces and even the occasional bands or DJ. Sporting events are shown on screens around the pub, and pool tables offer an entertaining edge. A range of hearty meals are available as well, in case you were wondering.

If you haven't been to this pub before - get down there now. The first time I walked in there the atmosphere was what I would expect from a pub - great ambience, great layout, friendly (and spunky) staff, and big screens so you can watch your sport and the bands that play there - rock!!
I went on Saturday night and the band they had on was fantastic. The dance floor was rocking with people young and old, no shame to get out there just go with the music.

A group of family and friends, ages ranging from 21 to 50 plus, met at the Lion on Easter Sunday night. The atmosphere was one of a big, friendly, family party . Welcoming, interactive, great staff - one big party! The band that night was a sensational 80s Cover Band so the music was fun and infectious. Everybody regardless of age or ability was up dancing and singing along.

Great place to go for a drink and dance. The crowd can range from young to old with mostly being in the late 20s plus.
The raised dance floor gets very busy with lively dancers and it's no wonder when the music being played by either the DJ or the live band is awesome.
Music ranges from remixed pop, RnB and house. Recommended for a visit if you're looking to enjoy your night with no entry fee and music that you recognise.
