Venue type: Pub, Bar
Review: Tony Clarke
Once quite run down but now a rather more pleasant pub, the Three Crowns still remains a rather traditional pub at heart. A bistro area features along with the bright front public bar area.
Outdoor Area / Beer Garden
A rear courtyard is available to enjoy the warmer weather.

Take a trip back in time when the publican liked a drink and the food was great and plenty of it! The publican larger then life and full of vigour (and himself) What a great fun night, Lots of stories and tricks!

A few of us wandered into the Three Crowns Hotel on a Friday night after reading the blackboard out the front stating free champagne on Friday from 5-7pm now thats a sign with pulling power! We were warmly greeted by the bar staff and found a raised table in the front bar by the freshly painted windows this led us to appreciate how tastefully the venue has been renovated. White walls, painted wood panels, small, elegant bar with a few bar stools and a medium sized dining area through to the back with a courtyard. The bar staff were welcoming and friendly and didnt hold back on offering us some hot food on the house to go with our bubbles. Its great to pop in to a pub and have a brief chat with its new owner (who we could tell was really proud of what he has achieved. Even though its not our local, the friendliness and enthusiasm of the staff and the owner will certainly keep us going back.
