Aah, the Gypsy Bar! A lively little place on bustling Brunswick St Fitzroy. Grab a perch on one of the stools at the front window, share a drink and a smirk in comfort, as the locals stroll by (We were in tears laughing!)
The pink grapefruit mineral water with a splash of gin was simply YUMMY! Imported beers & good coffee will have to wait until our next visit.

If you don't want a place with thumping music or over-zealous 17-year-olds, this might be the bar for you, where emphasis is on sitting at the tables and enjoying the vibe. Gypsy is one small room divided in two by the bar and the seating, with a few chairs also at the front counter for people-watchers. The venue is made to look larger with its mirrored walls, but it doesn't take much for Gypsy to fill up. High, pressed metal ceilings add to the quaintness of the room - one which is a great place for a chat, some drinks and maybe a bite.
