You have to love these converted houses turned into bars. Tiny bars, the DJ playing his set from a cupboard, and the small front room couchfested. Cool and cosy. If not 'gezellig' - you see, that's Dutch for 'cosy', and you get that feel - the owner is Dutch. Aha! Dutch football souvenirs on the wall, Dutch and Belgian beers in the fridge - lovely. The Lambsgo Bar even does a Dutch night once a month which is good fun to tag along to.
Outdoor Area / Beer Garden
A cute little outdoor garden.
Second Opinion
You'll be surprised when you step inside this seemingly small house-cum-drinking spot, at the labrinth of rooms, nooks and crannies housed at Lamsgo. The bar is right as you walk in - just where you need it (aaah!), and on weekends a DJ is adjacent.
Nestle in the front bar or head out the back for some quiet time, knowing that the bustle of Smith Street is just a stone's throw away.

What's not mentioned is the unmatch range of beers in their fridge (over 100 from all round the world) and the reasonable prices on said exotic beverages. Beer drinkers MUST attend wheel of beer on Tuesdays too, it is absolutely compulsory!

It took a couple of us hardcore pub fiends quite some time to find it, but it was well worth the wait. The owners are really cool, and this bar could never be called pretentious. One of the best selections of beer in Melbourne. If I could find a place to live within stumbling distance I'd move there right away. They have a club called the 101 club. If you drink 101 different beers here you can get a t-shirt. Also a great latin-ladies room (go there to see what I mean).
