Venue type: Pub
Review: Julie Whiting
The distinctive Gothic building complete with Turrett is host to a great old authentic Irish pub. The Dan's friendly, down-to-earth vibe is not of the cheezy, Irish concept pub variety, but one that attracts a good amount of regulars, including uni students and other locals. A family friendly policy enables the little ones to enjoy the Dan's charm also.
A variety of bands play in both the front bar, with a large back room being used for functions or occasionally for sporting events on the big screen
Our tip: St Patrick's Day goes off here!
