Up the staircase, past the cigarette machine, and there they are: the couches. First Floor is a lounge style bar; a dim, red glow, and some retro furniture to complete the effect. Projections get thrown on the wall to awe at, and a bunch of well tuned Galaga machines sit at the ready.
First Floor's perhaps Fitzroy's classiest venue, but still as down to earth as you'd want. We say it's somewhere between grungy and trendy. Although very tough indeed to pigeonhole.

Always Busy
It's quite a busy place, even on the quieter nights.
Music Most Nights
A dedicated, large stage serves as both a DJ area and doubles for bands and other live acts, with something on seemingly every night.
